How many hours a day do I need to wear aligners?
20 to 22 hours a day. You remove them for meals and brushing, then wear them back. The trays only work while they are on your teeth.
What happens if I forget to wear a tray for a few days?
Call the clinic. Usually you wear the same tray for 2 to 3 extra days to complete its hours before moving to the next number. Our team also calls you every 10th day to keep your progress on track.
Are aligners better than braces?
Neither is universally better. Aligners win on comfort, appearance and convenience for most adult cases. Braces are preferred for children below 15, developmental jaw problems, and small corrections on a tight budget. The right answer comes from a clinical evaluation, not preference.

Are mail order aligners a safe alternative?
We regularly see patients whose mail order aligners did not deliver results. Tooth movement needs one to one supervision: X-rays before starting, attachment placement, and a doctor checking your progress. Trays ordered online without any of this frequently fail, and the sellers do not disclose the risks.
